EBS offers vented laboratory microwave ovens for light and electron microscopy and histology specimen preparation. Our microwaves are available with a options for applications from basic tissue staining with air agitation to tissue processing or fixation procedures that require precise temperature control.

Detectors for electron microscopy include solid state or scintillation Backscattered Electron (BS) detectors, Cathodoluminescence, STEM or MCP detectors. The chamberscope cameras for viewing inside the SEM chamber use low levels of infra red illumination not normally detected by the SEM detector, thereby allowing simultaneous operation.

Electron microscopy sample preparation instrumentation includes CRYO-SEM preparation systems, compact and large chamber sputter coaters, carbon coaters, critical point dryers, vacuum evaporators, and plasma barrel reactors for plasma etching, plasma ashing and plasma cleaning.
